Simple basic tennis rules
The rules of tennis are quite simple.
The game itself is complex.

Rule 1. Opponents stand on opposite sides of the court. The player who delivers the ball to start the point is called the serviser. The player who stands opposite and cross-court from the server is the receiver.

Rule 4. The receiver can stand where he likes but must let the ball bounce in the service box. If the ball does not land in the service box, it is deemed a fault and a second serve is given. If the ball is hit by either opponent before the ball bounces, the server wins the point.

Rule 5. After the game, the opponents serve. The first to win 6 games, by two, wins the set. The first to win 2 sets wins the match. If the score is 6-6, a tie-breaker is played. This is scored by one's. The first team to score 7 points winning by two wins the set. The tiebreaker continues until one side wins by two.

Rule 6. If the ball goes into the net, or outside the boundaries of the court, the player who hit that ball loses the point. If the ball hits the net during the point and goes into the opponents court, the ball is in play. A player loses the point if he touches the net or drops his racquet while hitting the ball.

Pravilo 1. Protivnici stoje na suprotnim stranama teniskog igrališta. Igrač koji šalje loptu da započne poen zove se serviser. Igrač koji stoji na suprotnom dijagonalnom polju od servisera zove se primalac.

Pravilo 4. Primalac može stajati gde želi, ali mora dozvoliti da loptica odskoči u servisnom polju. Ako loptica ne padne na servisno polje smatra se greškom i daje se drugi servis. Ako je loptica udarena od bilo kog protivnika pre nego je odskočila serviser dobija poen.

Pravilo 5. Nakon gema, protivnik servira. Prvi igrač koji dobije 6 gemova na 2(razlike) dobija set. Prvi koji dobije 2 seta dobija meč. Ako je rezultat 6 - 6 igra se taj-brejk. Ovde se poentira po 1. Prvi tim(ili igrač) koji dobije 7 poena na 2 dobija set. Taj-brejk se nastavlja sve dok jedna strana ne dobije sa 2 razlike.

Pravilo 6. Ako loptica udari u mrežu ili padne izvan ograničenog prostora igre igrač koji je poslao lopticu gubi poen. Ako loptica udari u mrežu i padne u polje protivnika, loptica je u igri. Igrač gubi poen ako dotakne mrežu ili ispusti reket dok udara lopticu.
